Romance was the big story for the Fall Winter 17 Collection. Cascading ruffles, exaggerated bell sleeves, embroidered florals with velvet textures. Muted earth-toned crinkled chiffon, ornate patterns—these served to convey the essence of a romantic soft glamour era. The collection gave subtle hints of Frida Kahlo influences by paying homage to what she painted herself in. This collection featured some unexpected gestures of not only palette but pattern and texture, as well.
